Dental Implants for The Woodlands
Beautiful, State-of-the-Art Tooth Replacement
When it comes to replacing missing teeth—any number of missing teeth—dental implants are simply in a class of their own. They restore both parts of a tooth both above and below the gum line, providing a restoration that is the most durable, reliable, and natural-looking one available today. If you’re ready to finally say “goodbye!” to the gaps in your smile, dental implants are the way to do it, and you can get them right here in The Woodlands with Dr. David Cunningham. Implant-Retained Crowns & Bridges
Bringing a single missing tooth back to life is easier than ever thanks to implant-retained crowns. After placing a dental implant in your jaw, a custom-made, all-porcelain crown will be attached directly to it using a connector called an abutment. At this point, it will completely resemble a natural tooth in every way. We can even use these implant crowns to “bridge” the gap left by multiple missing teeth in a row.
Implant-Retained Dentures
Dentures, especially those for the bottom teeth, are notorious for slipping out of place. Thanks to dental implants, however, this can finally be a problem of the past. With implant-retained dentures, the teeth are actually secured to the jawbone just like natural ones using multiple implants placed within the mouth. Once it is set, an implant-retained denture will have a much more secure fit than a traditional one, that fit can be trusted to last, and a patient will even have a significantly stronger bite force.
All-on-4 / Teeth in a Day
With this procedure, our team can literally restore an entire row of missing teeth with a strong, natural-looking implant-retained denture in just one day. After having only four dental implants placed strategically within the mouth, our team can snap a custom-made denture directly onto them at the same appointment. And with that, a patient will have a full set of teeth. Most of the time, the only regret All-on-4 patients have is that they didn’t come to see us sooner!
